This model is a heavily reworked Athearn SD40T-2. Some of the more interesting modifications to the unit are the daylighting of the grilles. Also, the mounting tabs were removed, along with complete reconstruction of the pilots and alot of detailing. The ditch lights also operate. Painted with floquil SP scarlet red and SP dark lark gray. Decals are by Microscale.
