Rock Island GP40 347 Pilot faces rebuilt, cut bars added,new plow, new horn, lift rings, speed recorder, firecracker antenna, etc etc.
The primer is floquil primer, then sprayed with Scalecoat II white. Red was custom mixed Scalecoat II red, yellow was Scalecoat II yellow toned down with white. Underframe is Scalecoat II NYC dark gray. The decals are Microscale, and the entire unit was semiglossed with half Testor's glosscoat and half Testor's dullcoat thinned with lacquer thinner.
